Bald Eagles are becoming more common in Oregon. Even so, the most likely way you will see Bald Eagles in the Doug is passing through. They may be found along the rivers at the right time of the year.
These are mature adults. Juvenile birds lack the white head and tail. When roosting, juveniles look all brown. When flying, juveniles have lighter colored underwings. Juveniles are the same size as an adult.
